Myrna Jean Johnson, age 74, of Le Center, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Ridgeview in Le Sueur surrounded by family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10 from 5pm-7pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11 at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with visitation one hour prior at church. Pastor Jan Crissinger will be officiating. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center at a later date.

Myrna was born on September 19, 1948 in St. Peter to Carlton and Leona (Boettcher) Huber. She was a Cleveland High School graduate. In 1975 she became a mother to daughter, Tonya. Myrna worked in insurance before 38 years at the 1st National Bank of Le Center as well as a part time bookkeeper for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. She loved being surrounded by family and friends along with her hobbies: cooking, gardening, and sewing.

Myrna is survived by her daughter Tonya (Doug) Pomije of Le Center; grandchildren, Cory (Dominique) Johnson, Danielle (Matthew) Trygstad, Whitney Kocina (Justin Burton), Alexis Kocina (Tanner Sellner), Carter Pomije, Kirsten Pomije; great-grandchildren, Judd Johnson and Frankie Burton; siblings, Gary (Kathy) Huber of Le Center, Sonya (Tom) Squires of Le Center, Scott (Pam) Huber of Le Center, Diane (Allen) LaTour of Belle Plaine; sister-in-law, Linda Huber of New Prague; many nieces and nephews.

Myrna is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Dean Huber and Russ Huber.
