Janet Marie Holicky Polzine

Janet Marie Holicky Polzine, age 76, of Cleveland, died on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Mayo System Mankato. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 4pm-8pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Church of Christ in Cleveland. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Janet was born on May 24, 1948 in St. Peter to Kenneth and Loretta (Hand) Flowers. She was a 1966 Cleveland High School graduate and attended Mankato Commercial College. She was united in marriage to Dennis Holicky on September 23, 1967 and to Donald Polzine on May 16, 2015. She worked as a Para-professional for 34 years retiring in 2015.

She was a member of the UMW at the Methodist Church in Cleveland, City Council in Cleveland for 16 years, active in the Fire Department Auxiliary of Cleveland, Jaycee Women, and Card Club. She loved playing cards, crossword puzzles, traveling, family, kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren, basketball games, and wintered in Texas the past 8 years.

Janet is survived by her husband, Donald Polzine of Cleveland; children, Denise (Randy) Seberson of Waseca, Michael (Kristin) Holicky of Cleveland, Christine (James) Brown of Meyer, IA; stepdaughters, Melissa (Kirk) Whiting, and Madonna Peterson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Blake) Giles, Nicole Seberson, Matthew Seberson (fiancé Rachel Breck), Taylor Holicky, Stephanie Holicky, Noah Brown and Adeline Brown; great-grandchildren, Skyler Giles and Kennedy Giles; siblings, Ken (Cindy) Flowers of Le Sueur, Mary Moser of CA, Russell (Linda) Flowers of Cleveland, Rita (Glen) Pauling of Owatonna, Donna (Dale) Herbst of Warsaw, and Gerald (Jodi) Flowers of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Mary Flowers of Wellington, CO.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Dennis Holicky; brother, Jim Flowers; and niece, Laurie Flowers.
