Adeline Morgan

Adeline Marie (nee Nichols) Morgan, age 91 of Montgomery, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Traditions of Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Friday, November 10 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Visitation will be two hours prior to Mass at church. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.

Adeline was born on October 6, 1926 to Earl and Helen (Lilja) Nichols in Minneapolis. She attended Incarnation grade school and Central High School in Minneapolis. After graduation in 1944, she and her best friend, Vivian Devins went to California where Adeline met the love of her life, LV "Larry" Morgan. They were married on July 22, 1947 in Minneapolis and proceeded to raise a family of seven children.
She was an avid sports fan. Brett Favre was her absolute favorite player. Adeline was supportive of many charities and was especially generous to many Montgomery institutions.

Adeline is survived by her children, Linda (Brian) Morgan-Comstock of Minneapolis, Gregory (Tammy) Morgan of Mesa, AZ, John Morgan of Montgomery, and William Morgan of Montgomery; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Marilyn Oberle of Fairmont; brother, John (Judy) Nichols of Hutchinson; and childhood best friend, Vivian Gullett of Maple Lake.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LV; sons, Thomas, Larry, and Paul Morgan; and grandson, Peter Morgan.
