Alfred Viskocil Jr.

Alfred Viskocil Jr., age 59, of Montgomery, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery on Wednesday, August 6 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cancer Research.

Al was born on March 19, 1955 in New Prague to Alfred and Eleanor Viskocil. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1973. Al worked for Chart (MVE) in New Prague, then later as a self employed contractor.

He married Rosie Kotek. He enjoyed being with family, hunting, fishing, playing cards, woodworking, and gardening.

Al is survived by his wife, Rosie; children, Terry (Robin) Viskocil of Le Center and Penny Viskocil of Montgomery; stepchildren, Gothan (Lisa) Krocak of Montgomery and Sarah (Gregg) Kocina of New Prague; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Mary Ann) Viskocil of Shieldsville and Lloyd (Ruth) Viskocil of Montgomery; sisters, LaVonne (Jerry) Adamek of Montgomery, Linda Dahn of Bloomington, and Lenore Viskocil of Le Center; and brother-in-law, John Peitterson of Kasota.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ladene Peitterson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to cancer research.
