Alvia Ann Koubele

Alvia Ann Koubele, age 96, of Montgomery, died peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at home. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am with Father Tom Niehaus officiating. Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery.

Alvia was born on September 20, 1923 to Edward and Sophia (Springer) Zellmer. Alvia was united in marriage to Frank G. Koubele in Montgomery on March 4, 1946.

Alvia enjoyed gardening and flowers, outings to casinos, vacationing, and shopping for the ultimate bargain. She loved visiting with her family and friends.

Alvia is survived by her children, Sharon Koubele of Las Vegas, NV, Carol (Jim) Turek of Burlington, KY, Connie Kopet of Le Center, and Ray Koubele of Montgomery; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters-in-law, Aggie Gammon and Blanche Zellmer.

Alvia is preceded in death by her; husband, Frank Koubele; parents; daughter, Judy Gaydon; sons-in-law, Russell Kopet and Buck Gaydon; granddaughter, Jessica Turek; sisters, Margaret Vargo and Cecelia Tupy; brothers, Louis Zellmer and Ed Zellmer;
