Angela Adeline Tuma

Angela Adeline Tuma, 86 of Montgomery, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery and also 9 a.m. to 10:30 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday November 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
Angela was born on June 19, 1927 to Joseph J. and Mary (Sempaur) Pesta at home in Shieldsville Township, Montgomery. She was united in marriage to John James Tuma on January 4, 1944 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Northfield. She was a housewife, helped farm with her husband, worker at Green Giant, owned and operated Towns Edge Caf� for a number of years and also worked at Control Data.
She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Assn., CCW, and the KC Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, tending flowers, baking, sewing quilts, old time music and spending winters in Tuscon, AZ.
She is survived by children; Kenneth (Arlene) Tuma of Northfield, Cheryl (Ivan) Woodard of Grand Island, NE, David Tuma (fianc� Ruth Joss) of Brooklyn Center and Denise Tuma Pinc of Northfield, sister, Elsie Kuchinka of Lonsdale, grandchildren; Robert Tuma, Chris Tuma, Jodi Wojciak, Michael Walters, Peggy Nord, Tammy Nord, Krystle Tuma, Kayla Pinc and 22 great-grandchildren.
Angela is preceded in death by her husband John James Tuma, son, John David Tuma in infancy, parents, Joseph and Mary Pesta, sisters; MaryAnn and husband Joseph Koldin, Julia and husband Joseph Rosival and Annie at age of 3 months, brothers; John and wife Marcella Pesta and Joseph and wife Helen Pesta, brother-in-laws; Albert Tuma, Charles Tuma and Arnold Kuchinka, sons-in-law; James Johnson and Francis Pinc.
