Angie Tuma, age 78 of Montgomery, died Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Lodges on Natchez in Elko, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at Schoenbauer Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Angie was born in Derrynane Township, Minnesota on May 21, 1937 to John and Helen (Miska) Holtz. She attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School for most of her elementary school years and graduated from Montgomery High School in 1955. She married Gerald Tuma at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery on October 25, 1958. Together they raised four children.

Angie worked at Frandsen Bank and Trust, Hruby Implement and in the City Hall for the City of Montgomery. She enjoyed traveling in recent years, playing in many card clubs, spending time with family and socializing with friends. She volunteered at the food shelf, spent time with the Red Hat Ladies and counted money at church.

Angie is survived by her four children, Randy and Katie Tuma of St. Paul, Renee and Peter Blissenbach of Hastings, Robin and Mark Mikiska of Lakeville and Roxy Tuma of St. Paul; 18 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; one sister, Catherine Hanson of St. Peter; five sisters-in-law, Liz Holtz of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Genevieve Holtz of Montgomery; Mary Ann Holtz of Montgomery; Joan Holtz of Plantation, Florida and Arvilla Hinesley of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; parents, John and Helen Holtz; daughter, Rebecca in infancy; and seven siblings, Mike, John, Edward, Cyril, Agnes, Tom and Fritz and granddaughter, Connie.
