Annette Marie Wetzel

Annette Marie Wetzel, 88, of Le Sueur, passed away at Ridgeview Le Sueur Nursing Home/ Rehab Center on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, from 4pm to 7pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with Pastor Ally Bowman with visitation 1 hour prior beginning at 10am. Interment will be held in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur following a luncheon.

Annette was born on October 23, 1929 to Wencil and Bertha (Reddeman) Lang. Annette was united in marriage to Chester L. Wetzel on February 8, 1949. She worked as a Dietitian for various nursing homes. Annette was active in many originations such as Alanon, 4-H leader, and Girl Scout and Brownie Leader. Annette sold AVON, enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and listening to music.

Annette is survived by her children, Mike Wetzel of Henderson, Steve (Kathy) Wetzel of Le Center, Chris Wetzel of Mankato, and Lori O'Malley of Le Center; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

Annette is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Wetzel (2005); daughter in infancy, Linda Marie Wetzel.
