Barbara Helen Korbitz, 79, of Montgomery, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 in Montgomery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. also at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Private family burial at a later date.
Barbara was born on December 27, 1933 in Birchwood, WI. to Joseph and Laura (Thomas) Blaha. She graduated from Birchwood High School. She was united in marriage to Donald Korbitz.
She is survived by children, Diana (Dan) Smith of Ronert Park, CA., Kathy (David) Kenyon of Mt. Pleasant, SC., Penny Wallace of Montgomery, Donald Korbitz Jr. of Wisconsin Rapids, WI., Tim (Darlene) Korbitz of Spencer, IA., Dennis (Lorreen) Korbitz of Estherville, IA., Pat (Kelly) Korbitz of Montgomery; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim Blaha and Ann Beronic.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Beth; and parents.
