Betty Gnerer

Betty Gnerer, 78, of Montgomery passed away on April 13, 2015 at her home in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. also at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Credit River Cemetery in Prior Lake.

Betty was born on August 24, 1936 in St. Paul to Art and Etta (Chaffin) Meincke. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School and the University of Minnesota. She taught school in Bloomington and was united in marriage to George Gnerer at St. John's Church in Savage. She enjoyed her grandchildren, horse shows, gardening, cooking & baking, canning and farm animals.

Betty is survived by her children, Stacy (Craig) Lindblom of Montgomery, George (Tracy) Gnerer of Montgomery and Betsy (Chris) Messner of Northfield; 7 grandchildren, Brooke Gnerer, Katie Gnerer, Samantha Gnerer, John Lindblom, Kaitlyn Lindblom, Jessica Messner and Jake Messner; sister, Marlene George of Chaska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George and her parents.
