Beverly J. Boys

Beverly J. Boys, 84 of Le Center, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center and continuing Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 am also at funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Communion Episcopal Church in St. Peter, followed by a memorial and luncheon at the Le Center American Legion at 12:30. Burial will be at Lake Gorman Cemetery in Cordova following the luncheon.

Beverly was born on September 12, 1929 in New Prague to Jess and Ella (Humber) Brockway. She was united in marriage to Robert Lee Boys in Le Center on July 7, 1951.

She was born, raised and lived in Le Center her entire life, most of those years on the family farm. She was a wonderful wife and mother, spending much of her time doing her part as farmers wife. Beverly was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a very active member of the community. She loved to take part in many of the local celebrations and loved to sing in church, at gatherings or just for the fun of it. She loved to collect anything to do with cows, and she never forgot birthdays, anniversaries or holidays and kept in touch with many people throughout the years.

She is survived by daughter, Lynn (Bob) Karasch of East Bethel and son, Mark Boys of Montgomery; granddaughters, Taylor and Abagail Karasch, Sarah Belz, Debbie and Kristin Boys and 7 great-grandchildren.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and son Robert Jr. in infancy.

Anyone bringing food can deliver it to the Le Center Legion Club between 9-12 on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
