Blaine Charles Lande

Blaine Charles Lande, 57 of Burnsville, formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10 a.m. to Noon at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Funeral service will also be Tuesday at Noon at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Montgomery in spring.

Blaine was born on February 6, 1958 to Charles and Gloria (Thorsen) Lande in Waterloo, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years and worked on radar and missile guidance systems. Upon returning from the Navy he lived in Boston, MA. and worked on electronics. He enjoyed carpentry and automobile mechanics.

He is survived by his step-mother, Patsy (Brockway) Lande of Le Center; siblings, Brian Lande of Montgomery, Phillip Lande of Burnsville, Rick (Kathy) Brockway of Montgomery, Tammie (Steve) Pan of Montgomery and Gary (Marilyn) Brockway of Eyota; many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Blaine is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gloria Lande and uncle Alan.

Military Honors will be provided by the Montgomery area Honor Guard.
