Bonnie Callisto

Bonnie Callisto, age 84, of Le Center, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Funeral services will also be on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center at 10:00 a.m. Spring burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.
Bonnie was born on June 19, 1929 in Grey Eagle, MN. to Emil and Rose Hiltunen. She attended Grey Eagle School and graduated at age 16. She was united in marriage to Donald Callisto in Grey Eagle in 1963. She worked at St. Mary's Parochial school and Boyds Department Store in Le Center.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Le Center; children, Sandra Callisto of Spain, Shelley (Bob) Zins of St. Cloud, Sean Callisto of Opole, MN. and Mary (Jeff) Brendel of Woodbury; 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and siblings, Virginia Lidstome of Punta Gorda, Florida, Mimi "Emily" Rangitsch of St. Paul, Ron Hiltunen of Punto Gorda, Florida and Don Hiltunen of St. Paul.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven; grandson, Nicholas; sisters, Helen Hiltunen, Darlene Healy, and Gloria Mathre.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
