Bruce (Meat) Alan Traxler

Bruce (Meat) Alan Traxler, age 64 of Le Center, passed away at his home on January 24th, 2021. He was born on December 31st, 1956 in Waseca, MN. He grew up in Le Center where he graduated from high school in 1975. Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He served much of his time overseas in places such as Okinawa, Japan, the Phillipines and Korea.

Bruce loved hunting and fishing. He spent time with family and had many friends. He loved to read, write poetry and listen to music, attending hundreds of concerts. He devoted much of his time to providing transportation to those in need.

Bruce is survived by his parents, Dale and Joyce Traxler; brothers, Jeff (Kathy), Pat (Kae), Mike (Colleen), Doug (Barb) and Paul (Jenny); sons Hardy and Josh (Julie); grandson, Carter; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Marys Parish in Le Center on February 2nd, 2021, at 11:00am. Visitation will be prior to service from 8:00am to 11:00am. Following interment, the family will gather privately. Military honors will be given by the Marine Corp League in conjunction with the Le Center American Legion Post 108 and Le Center VFW Post 1803. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
