Cecilia M. Jelinek

Cecilia M. Jelinek, 96 of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian burial will also be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Cecilia was born January 29, 1919 to Albert and Mary (Korbel) Factor in Le Center. She worked at Munsingwear as a seamstress for over 20 years, American Legion in Montgomery and Green Giant as a cook and also worked at Mangans Bakery and Spors

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking kolacky, visiting with friends and family and cooking for them.

Cecilia is survived by her children; Thomas (Sandy) Jelinek of Montgomery and Jerry (Lorretta) Jelinek of Elkins Arkansas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Janet Factor of Bloomington and Luella McGillen of Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldred; son, John; brothers, Milo, Elmer, Leonard and Don Factor; sisters, Dorothy Blaschko and Marie Keogh.
