Charles Louis Traxler, age 86, of Le Center, MN. Visitation is on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, December 11 at 10 a.m. St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Burial at the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.
Born March 6, 1929 and passed away December 7, 2015 from complications of Parkinson's and heart failure.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, son's Mark (Barb), Greg (Ann), David (Lady), his daughter Michelle, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He spent his professional career in the banking business and was the Chairman/CEO of the First National Bank of Le Center, MN. He served in the US Navy on board the USS Brownson from 1948-1952. He attended Le Center Public High School.
He was involved in many organizations including: The American Legion, member and past Commander of VFW Post 1803, Minnesota Bankers Assoc., and sporting memberships with Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever. He was an avid hunter and believed in land conservation.
Chuck is remembered for his sense of humor, his integrity, kindness, devotion to God and love of family, friends, and his country.
The family wishes to thank all of his caregivers for their attention to the details of his care.
