Cheryl L. Borchardt

Cheryl L. Borchardt, age 72 of Le Center, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Visitation will be on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am with a memorial service at 11 am at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Pastor Mark Wilms will be officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery.

Cheryl was born on October 26, 1943 to Leslie and Neoma Mattie (Russ) Baker in Winnebago Village. She graduated from Mankato High School. Cheryl was united in marriage to William Borchardt on December 5, 1964 at Zion U.C.C.-Le Sueur. Cheryl worked at Munsingwear in Montgomery for many years as a seamstress and retired from Onan in St. Peter. Cheryl enjoyed gardening, TV shows, Star Trek, All in the Family, As the World Turns; reading romance novels, and going out with friends.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Brian Borchardt of Le Center, Danny Borchardt of Fargo, ND, Lynn Borchardt of Faribault, and Billy Borchardt (Becki) of Le Center; grandchildren, Nathan, Nikki, Nolan, Dylan, Justin, Ryan, Cody, Kaylee, and Tara Borchardt.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Borchardt; and parents.
