Darleen Carole Barclay

Darleen Carole Barclay of Shakopee passed away on Thursday, June 25th 2020 at the Luthern Home in Belle Plaine. Services will be Friday July 17th at Saint Mary Catholic Church in LeCenter MN. 9am Visitation, 10am mass then out to the Calvary Cemetery.

Darleen was born January 20th,, 1946 in Wisconsin along with her twin sister Doreen to parents Wesley Barclay and Carole(Harland) Barclay. When Darleen was young they moved to New Prague, MN. Darleen graduated New Prague High School. Class of 64. Darleen was united in marriage to William Richard Kemnitz. Thier Daughter Jacquelyn Marie Kemnitz was born Nov. 26th 1965. Darleen's Husband died Dec. 2nd 1972. Darleen married 2 times after to Elmer and Leo. Darleen spent most her later years single. Darleen enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandson, having coffee and chatting with friends, Elvis, Angels, Puzzle books, The Antique Road Show, Crocheting.
Darleen was fun, good-hearted and kind. She wants people to remember her for who she was and that the small stuff does not matter. Do not judge others, that is God's job and to Accept people for who and what they are and love them.

Darleen is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Kemnitz and Grandson, Wesley Daughtery both of New Prague, Siblings, Gary Barclay of Prior Lake and Howard Barlay of Rockford, Illinois and Betty Barclay of Rockford, Illinois, From William Kemnitz Step Daughter Jean Skluzacek and Step grandchildren Shiela and Danny
Darleen was preceded in death by her first husband William Richard Kemnitz 12/2/1972, Twin sister Doreen (Barclay) Schoenecker, and parents Wesley and Jacqueline Barclay and Carole and Francis Krohmer.
