David Anton Washa

David Anton Washa "Pinhead", age 51, of Montgomery passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery and continuing Saturday, May 17 at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
David was born in New Prague on September 6, 1962 to John and Arlene Washa. He was raised on the family farm east of Le Center. He graduated from Le Center High School in 1981.
He was a member of 4-H, FFA and wrestled for LCHS. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery and had served on the church council and as president of the congregation he also was an avid Minnesota sports fan. He was currently employed by Cemstone and Bill Gallagher.
David is survived by his daughters, Becca Washa and Allison Washa; mother, Arlene Washa; sister, Charlene Washa and brothers, William Washa and Alan Washa; a niece and two nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
