David Leonard Skluzacek

David Leonard Skluzacek, age 61, of Montgomery, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 3 from 10 am to Noon with a prayer service to follow all at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

David was born on May 18, 1957 in New Prague to James and Leonella (Simek) Skluzacek. He attended Saint John the Baptist Catholic School and Jordan High School. He was united in marriage to Pamela Soine at Vang Lutheran Church in May of 1990. He worked on the family farm for many years, at CertainTeed and Contech Construction. In his spare time he enjoyed walking his beloved dogs, Jack and Lucy, talking to anyone walking by, a good card game and going out to eat, and was an avid sports fan of all Minnesota Sport teams, especially the Vikings.

David is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Skluzacek of Mankato; his faithful companions Jack & Lucy; siblings, Mark (Mary) of Jordan, Elaine of New Prague, Chris (John) Sorenson of Minneapolis; brother-in-law, Tom (Jeanne) Schoenbauer of Faribault; nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his wife, Pam Skluzacek; parents; sister, Mary Schoenbauer, and sister, Patricia Skluzacek and brother, Dennis Skluzacek both in infancy.
