Delyla Sladek

Delyla Sladek, 77, of Le Center passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems Hospital in Mankato. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 5 from 9am to 11am at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am with Father Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery.

Delyla was born on November 7, 1941 to Thomas and Anastasia (Smith) Michaels. Delyla was united in marriage to Joseph Sladek on March 3, 1962 at Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. Delyla worked as a beautician. Delyla enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the Minnesota Vikings football team, and gardening.

Delyla is survived by her husband, Joseph Sladek; daughters, Laura (Roland) Ceplecha of Kilkenny and Lisa (Jack) Miller of Prior Lake; grandson, Cory Sladek fianc�, Rachel Claffey; siblings, Tom (Janice) Michaels of Montgomery, and Connie (Kenny) Weber of Kilkenny; and many nieces and nephews.

Delyla is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anastasia Michaels; sister, Shirley Grunhoffer; brother, Keith Michaels; and grandson in infancy, Hunter Ceplecha.
