Denise 'Dee' Wolf

Denise “Dee” Wolf, 76, of Le Center, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, from 4pm to 7pm at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 10am at St. Marys Catholic Church in Le Center with visitation one hour prior to funeral at the church. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Dee was born on October 3, 1942 in St. Peter to Walter and Mary (Shaughnessy) Connolly. Dees father, Walter passed away in a vehicle accident when Dee was 4 years old. At the age of 8 her mother remarried Joseph Genelin and she gained another family with them. Dee was a graduate of McKinley High School in Le Center and then attended and received her LPN Degree from the school Sisters of Notre Dame in Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Terry Wolf and had three children together. They later divorced but remained good friends. Dee worked many years as a nurse then for the Le Sueur County Recorders Office.

Dee enjoyed cooking, collecting recipe books, decorating, but most of all spending time with family and friends. She was an American Legion Auxiliary President for two terms, and was a co-chair of St. Patricks Celebration in Le Center for 25 years.

Dee is survived by her children, Brian (Cynthia) Wolf of Corcoran, Laurie Wolf of Le Center, and David Wolf of Le Center; grandchildren, Aaron (Lisa) Possis, and Shyenne Wolf (fiancé Mitch); great-grandsons, Jackson and Beckett Possis; siblings, nieces and nephews.

Dee is preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Cindy (Possis) Wolf; and nephew, Tim Connolly.
