Dolores Margaret Wieland

Dolores Margaret Wieland, 80, of St. Henry, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry with Father Chris Shofner officiating with visitation one hour prior at the church.

Dolores was born in Cleveland, MN on October 29, 1935 to Walter and Margaret (Simonett) Rohlfing. Dolores was united in marriage to Richard J. Wieland in Cleveland, MN on July 17, 1956. Dolores worked at the St. Peter Hospital, the Le Center Leader and Telex Communications.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and the St. Henry Altar Society. She enjoyed winters in Arizona, camping in Lexington, playing bingo, garage saling, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings.

Dolores is survived by her children, Tom Wieland of Le Center, Katie (Don) Holicky of Le Center, Peggy (Doug) Stern of Wanda, Bill Wieland of Kilkenny, and Margie (Dewey) Liebl of Winnebago; grandchildren, Jesica (Nate) Kidder, Mathew Wieland, Michael (Kayla) Wieland, Adam Wieland; Gary, Larry and Jodi Holicky; Ann (Johnny) Frank, Walter (Samantha) Stern, John Stern; Dustin Wieland, Sarah (Aaron) Le Mieux, Wendi (Andy) DeGrood; Corey Liebl (special friend, Kayla Micke), Kim Liebl (special friend, Chris Braun); great-grandchildren, Kryssa Kidder, Addison Wieland, Johnny and Jacee Frank, Oliver Stern, Aiden Wieland, Summer, Emily, Joseph and Anna Le Mieux; sister, Donna Jellum of Waseca, and brother, Bill (Julie) Rohlfing of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Tony Wieland of Le Center; and special friend of the family, Debi "Bootsy" Deboodt of Kilkenny.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents; siblings, Mary Lou Rohlfing, Jean Foley, Marvin Rohlfing, and Ann Rezac; brothers-in-law, Gordon Foley, Walter Jellum and Joe Rezac.
