Donna J. Coughlin, age 78 of Montgomery, died on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Mayo Health Systems in New Prague, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Montgomery, MN. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m. that morning. Burial will take place following Mass at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery near Montgomery. Fr. Tom Niehaus will officiate the services.
Donna was born on April 2, 1942 to Charles & Leona (Honza) Horejsi in New Prague, MN. She attended Kilkenny Schools and Montgomery High School. She married Donald Coughlin on June 26, 1965 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Montgomery, MN. She worked for a short time at Munsingwear in Montgomery and later, seasonal work with Green Giant, (Seneca) and also a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald; children; Cindy Hlavac of Farmington, MN; Dale (Arunee) Coughlin of Thailand and Sheila McGuiggan of New Prague, MN. Grandchildren; Kevin (May) Hlavac, Matt Hlavac, Adam (Amber) Hlavac, Taylor (Brian) Pederson, Nick McGuiggan and Bryor McGuiggan. 2 Great-grandchidlen; Aden & Avia Hlavac. Siblings; Donald (Nancy) Horejsi of New Prague, Dallas (Marsha) Horejsi of Jordan, MN, Dalleen (Eddie) Sticha of New Prague, MN, Duane Horejsi of Montgomery, MN, Darrell (Sharon) Horejsi of Montgomery, MN and Diane McClintock of New Prague, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis.
