Donna Marie Dudley

Donna Marie Dudley, 91, of Le Center, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 9 am to 10 am at St. Marys Catholic Church in Le Center with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 am with Father Chris Shofner officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee or your favorite charity.

Donna was born on August 18, 1927 in Minneapolis to Fred and Anna (Lorenz) Hicks. She graduated from Hopkins High School then took a Course for Secretarial Work. Donna was united in marriage to Edward A. Dudley on June 11, 1947 at St. Theresa Church in Deephaven. She lived in Le Center since 1949. Donna worked as a secretary at Le Center Elementary School for 21 years and loved every child that went through the door. After retirement she worked as a para professional at the same school.

Donna was a member of the C.C.W. and St. Marys Church all her married life. She belonged to Southern Minnesota Antique Car Association. She and her husband Edward enjoyed car shows, flea markets, collecting antique childrens tractors and of every make of the big farm tractors and refinishing like new.

Donna is survived by children, Suzanne Hauge of St. Paul, John (Mary) Dudley of Onalaska, WI., and Denis (Hortencia) Dudley of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Dudley of Lake City; grandchildren, Jim and Anne Hauge of St. Paul, Thomas, Kathleen and Elizabeth (Benson) Dudley of Minneapolis, Megan Dudley of Arizona, and Katelyn Dudley of San Jose, CA; great-grandchildren, Oliva and Will Benson, Madeline and Molly Dudley.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward A. in 2003; sons, Dr. Stephen Dudley, and James Patrick Dudley; siblings, Lawrence Hicks, and Charlotte Dvergsten.
