Dorothy Irene Lloyd

Dorothy Irene Lloyd, 96 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Dorothy was born on August 3, 1919 in New Prague to Arthur and Esther (Bosacker) Huber. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Dale Lloyd on September 23, 1939 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center.

She was a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed baking, gardening, feeding birds, counted cross stitching, sewing and enjoyed watching sports. She and Dale enjoyed spending time together traveling various places around the world. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Julie Lloyd of Cleveland, Carol (Lloyd) Schultz of St. Peter, Jim (Diane) Lloyd of Le Sueur, Linda (Lloyd) and Bruce Solom of Tulsa, OK and Rick Lloyd (fianc�e, Renee Koch) of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Marilyn Huber of Wilmington, NC.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; son, Gary; son-in-law, Willard Schultz; brother, Alvin Huber; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Orville Wenger.
