Earl Emil Haase, age 94 of Cleveland, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Laurel's Edge in Mankato. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13 at St. Paul's at German Lake with Rev. Dick Jorgensen will officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service at the church. Interment will be in Cleveland Lutheran Cemetery.
Earl was born on July 10, 1923 in Elysian Township to Emil and Alma (Kaupa) Haase. Earl worked at Minneapolis Moline and as a Grounds Keeper at the St. Peter State Hospital until retiring. Earl enjoyed fishing, Life member of the Good Sam's Camping Club, and dancing. He was a member of the sportsman's club and fried fish at their fish fries, and was also a firemen for the Cleveland Fire Department for many years.
Earl is survived by his children, Roger Haase of St. Paul, Gary (Mary) Haase of Cleveland, and Pamela Caron of Nerstrand; the love of his life in later years, Donna Hlavac of Mankato; grandchildren, Amy Caron, Tracy Caron, Lindsay Caron, Peter Haase, and Sally Haase; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Anderson of St. Peter.
Earl is preceded in death by first wife, Mildred Vollmer; second wife, Ann Jerrow; and third wife Evelyn Kelm; son-in-law, Daniel Caron.
