Edith Arlene Tambornino

Edith Arlene Tambornino, 99, of Le Center, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 at River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.
Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Edith was born on November 20, 1917 to Stephen and Gertrude (Gambold) Murray on the family farm in Le Center where she spent her entire life raising her family. Edith was a graduate of McKinley High School in Le Center, and was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Edith was united in marriage on September 8, 1943 to Joseph Tambornino at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Edith's last two years was spent at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Edith is survived by her son, Stephen (Evie) Tambornino of Le Center; grandchildren, Jay (Vickie) Tambornino, of New Ulm, Sheila (Kevin) Huber of Le Center, Teri (Jason) Squires of Le Center; great-grandchildren, Marissa Tambornino, Taylor Tambornino, Dan Huber, Christina Huber, Jordan Squires, and Matthew Squires.

Edith is preceded in death by husband, Joe in 2015; brothers, Stephen and Orville Murray.
