Eileen Janet Bohlen

Eileen Janet Bohlen, age 78, of Kilkenny, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Bemidji. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23 from 4pm-6pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24 at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with Pastor, Ally Bowman officiating with Visitation one hour prior at the Church. Private family burial will be held at Lake Gorman Cemetery in Cordova.

Eileen was born on January 12, 1943 in Faribault to Harold and Hazel (Oppegaard) Schramm. Eileen was united in marriage to Bob Bohlen on April 15, 1967 in Kilkenny.

She loved farming, driving the tractor, her family, reading, quilting, playing cards- especially cribbage, travelling, wintering in Texas, making cookies, and she gave the best hugs. Eileen was very involved at St. Paul Lutheran Church and her church in Texas.

Eileen was survived by her husband, Bob Bohlen of Kilkenny; her children, Tom (Becky) Bohlen of Hudson, Wisc., and Nita (Jerry) Froderman of North Mankato; grandchildren, Anna and Ryan Binion, Rachel and Jessica Bohlen, and Jackson and Jase Froderman; son-in-law, Jeff Lorsung of Prior Lake; siblings, JoAnn Kewatt of Columbia Heights, Butch (Linda) Schramm of Bemidji, and Janet (Pastor, Mark) Stewart of Orlando, FL.

Eileen is preceded by her daughter, Jane Lorsung; her parents; sister, Ginny (Lowell) Schmidt; and brother-in-law, Charlie Kewatt.
