Elaine Mary Willette, 76 of Le Center, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with rosary at 2:45 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be also held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Elaine was born on January 19, 1938 to Edward and Hedwig "Hattie" (Kalis) Evan in Minnesota Lake Township. She attended Minnesota Lake High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin Willette on May 19, 1959. She was a loving wife and caring mother, she was a pillar of the community involved in church activities, 4-H, Home Ext., and volunteered for community events. She worked at Casey's General Store for 26 years as the dedicated kitchen manager and enjoyed promoting the store to everyone she chatted with. She was also a passionate gardener, very hard worker, and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Marvin Willette of Le Center; children, Jodi and Mark Rouse of Maple Grove their daughter, Emily and Derrick Diedrick, Judy and Dan Rogich from Fridley their daughter, Katherine and fianc� Chris Lindstrom, Alexia and Ronan Lindstrom, John and Jill Willette of Wells and their children, Emma Willette and fianc� Steven Santee and Tony Willette, Helen and Mike Heiland of Excelsior and their children, Lindsay, Kyle and Rachel Sather, and Tim and Amber Willette of Spring Valley; Siblings, Jeanne and David Becker of Mankato, Joyce and Warren Schneeberger of East Gull Lake, Helen and Mike Manders of Mankato, Barb and Dale Koplen of Pemberton, Muggs and Denny Zabel of St Clair, Alice and Oren Roeker of Minnesota Lake, Hona and Mark Beyer of Minnesota Lake, Chuck and Joan Evan of Minnesota Lake, Theresa Kirchner of Pella, IA. and Rose and Randy Cole of Good Thunder.


She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother in infancy, stepmothers and son, Tony.
