Eleanor Louise Hogan

Eleanor Louise Hogan, 80, of Waterville, formerly of Le Center, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Traditions of Waterville. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 10am- 11am. at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral service will follow at 11am also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center.

Eleanor was born on August 14, 1937 in Goshen, Indiana to Andrew and Florence (Pepper) Jackson. She was united in marriage to Louis Hogan on July 17, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa. Eleanor enjoyed working on puzzles, knitting, crocheting, painting ceramics, bowling, camping and fishing with her children while they were growing up, spending time with her family, and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Gayle (Debbie) Hogan of Waterville, Curtis (Lois) Hogan of Waterville, Douglas Hogan of Mason City, IA, Teresa (Greg) Goettl of Le Center, Melvin (Doreen) Hogan of Le Center, and Kevin Hogan (Carol) of Raymore, MO.; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Vance of Des Moines, IA, Eunice (Larry) Beener of Albert Lea; brother-in-law, Larry Evans of Cape Coral, FL; sister-in-law, Lucy Jackson of Goshen, IN

Eleanor is preceded in death by parents, Andrew Jackson and Florence Bledsoe husband; brother, Andrew Jackson; sisters, Darlene Price, and Arline Evans; daughter, Marqineta Hogan.
