Elsie Agnes Kuchinka

Elsie Agnes Kuchinka, 88, from Lonsdale, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at The Villages of Lonsdale in Lonsdale. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Shieldsville. Mass of Christian burial will be held also on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Shieldsville.
Elsie was born February 18, 1926 in Shieldsville Township to Joseph and Mary (Sempaur) Pesta. She was united in marriage to Arnold Kuchinka on June 30, 1943 in Faribault. She worked at Green Giant in Montgomery, Lonsdale Egg Plant, housekeeping and also farmed along side of her husband in Lonsdale until 1975 when they retired.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, making cakes for grandchildren and shopping at Kmart.
Elsie is survived by her children, Harold (Lucy) Kuchinka of Lonsdale, Larry (Doreen) Kuchinka of Montgomery and Colleen (Glenn) Franek of Northfield; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-granchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Julia (Joe) Rosival, Mayme (Joe) Koldin, Angela (John) Tuma, Annie Pesta in infancy, Jack (Marcie) Pesta and Joe (Helen) Pesta.
