Emil James Miller

Emil James Miller, 62, of Northfield formerly of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at his home in Northfield. Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Trebon Cemetery in Shieldsville.
Emil was born on June 16, 1951 in New Prague to Leonard and Elsie (Springer) Miller. He graduated from Montgomery High School and was employed with Cemstone in Northfield where he worked as a salesman, dispatch and a loader.
He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Eagles in Northfield. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, was a past race car driver and had a passion for cars. He also enjoyed gambling.
Emil is survived fianc�; Dee Stocking of Northfield, former wife; Carol Pelowski of Le Center, Children; Jason Miller of Prior Lake, Amy (Tim) Claffey of Le Center, Garrett Miller of Le Center, granddaughters; Lilly, Claire and Ethan Claffey, Dee's family; daughter, Danielle (fianc� Justin) Gates of Northfield and granddaughters Addison and Erika, sisters; Luella (Ken) Schleis of Montgomery and Sandra (Charlie) Quardstad of Burnsville.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son Johnathan in infancy
