Evelyn H. Soukup

Evelyn H. Soukup, 91 of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Traditions of Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Mass of Christian burial will also be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery.

Evelyn was born November 27, 1923 to Thomas and Mary (Wondra) Daleiden. She taught school before being united in marriage to Frank H. Soukup on June 5, 1945 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Along-side her husband they owned and operated Franks Sport Shop for 30 years.

She loved gardening, quilting, sewing, crocheting, her grandchildren, fishing and traveling.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Steve (Cindy) Soukup of Prior Lake, David (Suzanne) Soukup of Montgomery and Alan (Mae) Soukup of Prior Lake; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Marion Young of Montgomery, Arthur Daleiden of Faribault and Archie Daleiden of New Ulm.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Soukup in 2000 and parents.
