Francis C.Wiskocil

Francis C. Wiskocil, 85, of Le Sueur, formerly of Montgomery, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at MN Valley Health Care in Le Sueur. Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery and one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
Francis was born on April 24, 1928 at home in Montgomery to Frank and Mamie (Guessen) Wiskocil. He was united in marriage to Loretta Grundhoffer at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery on June 19, 1950. He worked for Montgomery Sanitary Creamery which was bought out by MN Valley and then AMPI from 1946 to 1986. He served as the Mayor of Montgomery for 14 years, was a independent realtor in Montgomery for 30 years and enjoyed farming, and old time music.
Francis is survived by wife, Loretta Wiskocil of Le Sueur; children, John (Kathryn) Wiskocil of Montgomery, Jennifer (Bruce) Cummins of Le Sueur and Milton (Peggy Sue) Wiskocil of Morristown; grandchildren, Randy Turek, Mark Turek, Jennifer Turek, Danielle Romig, Christopher Wiskocil and Josh Cummins; great-grandchildren, Autumn Romig, Josiah Turek, Trinity Turek and Sophie Kaunonen.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carol Wiskocil-Turek; sister, Mamye Wiskocil; and nephew, Richard Turek.
