Glenn Edward Wondra, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Traditions of Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one-hour prior all at the funeral home with Father George Grafsky officiating. Interment will be at Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Lions Gift of Sight.

Glenn was born on December 18, 1930 at home in Erin Township in Rice County to Edward J. and Albina (Novotny) Wondra. Glenn was united in marriage to Audrey Kuchinka on November 16, 1951 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Glenn worked as a farmer, also for Lampert Lumber Yard, Chlan Transfer (Murphy Motor Freight), Montgomery Golf Club, and Krenik Reality.

Glenn was a Certified Instructor for the gun safety program of the Montgomery Sportsman Club for many years, past member of the Wheatland Sportsman Club and was a strong advocate for wild life habitat, and was a member of the Montgomery Lions Club. Glenn enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, dancing, old time and country music- in his younger years he played button accordion and Tuba.

Glenn is survived by his children, Glenn A. (Darlene) Wondra, Candace V. Bradley, and Patrick E. Wondra; grandchildren, Denise (Special friend Carl Treu) Wondra, Kelly (Chad) Holicky, Reid (Veronica) Wondra, Lesley (Matt) Heimer, and Paula Wondra; great-grandchildren, Creighton, Victoria, Alex Soukup, Cole, Ethan, Justin Holicky, James and Adam Heimer; sister, Ester Kabes; and special friend, Darleen Tupy.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey; sister, Gladys Sirek.
