Gordon 'Gordie' Felix Breuer

Gordon, “Gordie” Felix Breuer, 68, of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitations will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 10am to 11am at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery and services following at 11am with Pastor Jason Pollington officiating. Lunch will be served immediately following at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery.

Gordie was born July 22, 1950 in New Prague to Laddie and Christine (Pakos) Breuer. Shortly after birth they moved to Shakopee. He attended St. Marys grade school and later graduated from Benilde St. Margerts in St. Louis Park. His passion for caregiving led to him attending the University of Minnesota and Metro State University where he graduated with a degree in Long Term Care Administration. Much of his career was spent working in healthcare facilities in Minneapolis and Faribault.

In 1987 Gordie was united in marriage to Tereasa (Hippert) Breuer. He loved spending time with the love of his life, Tereasa. Gordie and Tereasa did everything together, from going on motorcycle trips to the simple things like Friday night movies and trips to the grocery store. He had many passions in life. He loved cooking, making ceramic pottery, putting puzzles together, reading, riding motorcycle, gardening, and had a great talent for decorating his and his family's homes. He had a wicked sense of humor and loved to write and sing music, although he couldn't carry a tune.

Gordon is survived by his wife Tereasa of Montgomery; daughter, Kristy White of St. Francis ; brother, Lester (Susan) Breuer of Plymouth; 3 grandchildren, Joe (Nicolette), Olivia, Ethan; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Carter and Rydan.

Gordon is proceeded in death by his parents, great granddaughter Shayah, and nephew Michael.
