Harry Tuma

Harry Tuma, age 75, of Montgomery, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19 from 9am to 11am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11am with Father Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale.

Harry was born on June 16, 1943 in Lonsdale to Emil and Emma (Smisek) Tuma. Harry attended Immaculate Conception School in Lonsdale and attended New Prague High School. Harry was a member of the Lonsdale Lions and the Montgomery Knights of Columbus. Harry enjoyed Polka dancing, very involved in Pioneer Power, and Rice County Steam and Gas.

Harry is survived by loving friend of 27 yrs, Donna Austad of Montgomery; children, Annie Tuma, and Jane Tuma; siblings, Ray (Lois) Tuma of Lonsdale, Jack (Dorothy) Tuma of Lonsdale, and Jean (Dave) Sticha of New Prague; 8 nieces and nephews; 8 great nieces and nephews.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Elmer in infancy.
