Helen P. Keogh

Helen P. Keogh, age 89 of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery from 9:00 � 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Macular Degeneration Association.

Helen was born on July 17, 1929 in Montgomery to Albert and Theresa (Chalupa) Vrzal. She was a graduate of Montgomery High School. Helen was united in marriage to Leonard Keogh on October 30, 1948 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Helen worked as a seamstress at Munsingwear for almost 30 years. Helen was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliary, Gardening Club, and Red Hat Society. She enjoyed needle work, crafts, gardening and bird watching.

Helen is survived by her children, Karen (Larry) Parsons of Montgomery, and Jeff (Kathy) Keogh of New Prague; grandchildren, Mike (Laurie) Parsons, Micki Spears, Sarah (Ken) Kenemore, Amy (Peter) Bulger, Amanda (Shane Weidall) Keogh, Katie (Travis Scheffler) Keogh, and Laura (Zach Wallace) Keogh; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Peyton Weidall, Thomas and William Bulger, Logan, A.J., and Katy Spears, Elizabeth Sletten, and Tyler and Kali Kenemor.

Helen is preceded in death by Husband, Leonard; son, Marvin; sisters, Mary, Rosalia, and Bozena; and parents.
