Irene F. Krenik

Irene F. Krenik of Cleveland passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 10, at 10 am at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
Irene was born in Easton Minnesota to Francis and Margaret (Sippel) Anderson. She graduated from Wells High School. She taught country school near Minnesota Lake and later worked at National Citizens Bank in Mankato where she became the first female bank officer in Mankato. She was united in marriage on October 19, 1957 to Robert W. Krenik at St. John's Church in Mankato, and together they farmed near Cleveland for over 50 years. She truly enjoyed her family and friends.
Irene is survived by husband; Robert Krenik of Cleveland, children; John (and Gloria) Krenik of Midland, TX, William (and Amorn) Krenik of Dallas, TX, Mary (and Larry) Aszmann of Prior Lake, Amy Krenik of Cleveland and Andy Krenik of Mankato; 6 grandchildren; siblings; Edith Dunn of St. Paul, Charles Anderson, Croton on Hudson, NY and Robert Anderson of North Mankato.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jeanne Marie Krenik in childhood, 9 brothers and sisters.
