Irene Jerrow

Irene Jerrow, 100, of Le Center, died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Pathstone Living in Mankato. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. with Father James Adams officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Irene was born on August 25, 1916 in Jordan to Mathias and Mary (Geis) Wolf. She attended St. Benedict grade school and was a graduate of Le Center High School. Irene was united in marriage for 67 years to Earl Jerrow on October 17, 1938 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Irene worked at spors Co, County Offices, accountant for family business, Bowler Ins. & Soulek Ins. all in Le Center.

Irene loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, enjoyed golfing, bowling, knitting, crocheting, gardening, being outdoors and dancing.

Irene is survived by her children, Diane (Craig) Bartelt of Mankato, and Bob (Deb) Jerrow of North Mankato; grandchildren, Lindsey, Nathan, Adam (Heather), and Bridget (Jim); great-grandchildren, Hailey, Christian, Cameron, Cora, Brady, Aiden, and Emmett; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Ev Wolf of North Mankato.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Walt, Sandy, Vern, Marce, and Elmer.
