Irene T. Gramling, age 80 of Le Center, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter. Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center on Thursday, January 7 from 8:30 � 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at the church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. Fr. Chris Shofner will officiate.
Irene was born in Mantorville, MN on August 31, 1935 to Patrick and Lorena B. (O'Connor) O'Leary. She graduated from high school in St. Paul, then married Earl T. Gramling on June 26, 1954 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. Paul.
Irene was a member of the St. Mary's CCW, American Legion Auxiliary, and the church choir. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Earl T. Gramling of Le Center; three children, Teri (Pat) Pribyl of New Prague, Peggy (Brian) Saeger of Shakopee, and Dave (Julia) Gramling of Le Center; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and one brother.
