Iris Sullivan

Iris Sullivan, 86, of Le Center, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at The Lodge in Elko- New Market. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 10am to 11am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Thomas with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11am. Father Chris Shofner will be officiating. Interment will be held in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.

Iris was born on April 22, 1934 in New Prague to Stanley and Marcella (Zvanovec) Sindelar. She was a New Prague High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Robert Sullivan on November 5, 1955 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague.

She was an Avon Rep for 40 years, a member of the St. Thomas CCW, St. Thomas Sportsman Club- Womens Softball League, and MCCL. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, going to grandchildrens events, shopping, sewing, baking sugar cookies, she loved spending time with her family and Christmas.

Iris is survived by her children, Pat (Margaret) Sullivan of New Prague, Deb (Tom) Pedric of Bloomington, Punky (Arnie) Simon of New Prague, Mike (Cindy) Sullivan of Alabama, Todd (Peggy) Sullivan of St. Thomas, and Shannon (Craig) Ault of Eden Prairie; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sheldon (Marian) Sindelar of Prior Lake, Daisy Babione of New Prague, and Joy Seema of New Prague.

Iris is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sullivan; her parents, siblings, Russell Sindelar and Sally Schleeter; in-laws, Paul Seema, Hank Schleeter, Robert Babione, Jerry Retka, Dick Erkel and Gertrude and Jimmy Kriha; niece, Ann Marie; mother and father-in-law, Gerald (Loretta) Sullivan.
