Isabelle Kading

Isabelle Kading, age 92, of Montgomery passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3rd, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Visitation will be from 9-11 with services to follow at 11 with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating.

Isabelle was born on April 24th, 1928 to Frank Jr and Martha (Gall) Rathman. Isabelle was united in marriage to Robert Kading on October 13th, 1946 in St. James and had 5 children together. Isabelle graduated high school in Comfrey and went on to college at Mankato State Teachers College. Prior to moving to Montgomery in 1957 they both taught at schools in Nicollet and Janesville. Isabelle started working at Holy Redeemer Catholic School in 1970 and continued working there for 27 wonderful years.

Isabelle enjoyed planning vacations and traveling with her family. She also enjoyed watching wildlife and growing her flowers in her flower garden.

Isabelle is survived by their children, Christine (Todd) Dahlgren of Maple Lake, Kathleen Kading (Jeff Blue) of Illinois, Stephanie Ponath of Belle Plaine; 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Kristian, Jamie, Nikolaus, Taylor, Maxwell, Mason, and Noah and 4 great-grandchildren

Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Brian Kading; daughter, Mary Sorum; sister, Loretta Lau; and her parents;
