James Lawrence Neubauer Updated

James Lawrence Neubauer, age 58 of Grand Marais, died Wednesday, May 22 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Montgomery.

Jim was born on October 13, 1965 in New Prague to Roger and Roberta (Melina) Neubauer. He attended Montgomery-Lonsdale High School. He worked as a plumber for many years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, cooking, dog training, and spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his girlfriend, Kim Henson; stepmother, Cathi Bankert of LaCrosse, Wisc.; children, Nicholas Robert Neubauer of Northfield, Christopher Steven Neubauer of Coon Rapids, and Jessica Anne Ramirez of Florida; siblings, Mike (Jennifer) Neubauer of Le Center, Dan (Angie) Neubauer of Le Center, Ryan Neubauer (Ang Branter) of Montgomery, and Damon (Sara) Athey of Independence, KS.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
