James Michael Parkos

James Michael Parkos, 46, of Sauk Rapids, formerly of Lonsdale, passed away, November 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 20, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, with visitation 2 hours prior at church.

Jim was born on February 21, 1972 in Faribault to Robert and Nancy (Rein) Parkos. He was a 1990 graduate of Montgomery Lonsdale High School. Jim was a heavy equipment repair mechanic. Jim enjoyed his Harley Motorcycle, Minnesota Vikings, eating chicken wings, tractors/ farm equipment, and going to Pioneer Power.

Jim is survived by best friend, Cindy LaBelle of Bloomington; mother, Nancy Parkos of Lonsdale; siblings, Sandy Parkos of Coldwater, Michigan, Scott (Cheryl) Parkos of Veseli, Bonnie (Jeremy) Kincade of Lakeville, and William (Candis) Parkos of Lonsdale; many nephews and nieces.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Robert; grandparents, Bernice and Christie Rein; and Joe and Sophie Parkos.
