James Walter Krenik

James Walter Krenik, age 62, of Lonsdale, died on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 10am to 11am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr. Tom Niehaus and Fr. Tom Krenik officiating. Interment will be in the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in New Prague.

James was born on February 1, 1958 in New Prague to Donald and Pauline (Busch) Krenik. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator and turned to farming. James enjoyed ice fishing and playing pool in winter months and summers were filled with his organic farming. He also enjoyed a simple down to earth living and sharing time with his family.

James is survived by his siblings, Fr. Tom Krenik of Apple Valley, Patricia (Richard) Preston of St. Paul, Martin (Colleen) Krenik of New Prague, Mary (Greg) Laban of Webster, John Krenik of Plymouth, MA, Donna Morgan of Montgomery, David Krenik of Morristown, and Christopher Krenik of Faribault; many nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony.
