Jean Elizabeth Weber

Jean Elizabeth Weber, 91, of Le Center, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, from 9am to 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center with Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Jean was born on February 7, 1927 in rural Glencoe to Leonard and Clara (Barto) Lhotka. Jean graduated from Glencoe High School, The Minnesota School of Business, and Mankato State University with a BS in Home Economics with a major in Interior Design and Family Living. Jean was united in marriage to James (Jim) N. Weber at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center on September 16, 1950.

Jean was a past president and secretary of St. Mary's CCW. She worked as a secretary for Traveler's Inc. Co. and helped at the Weber Pharmacy. She enjoyed sewing, interior design work, landscaping, working at the Thrift Store and traveling with her husband to pharmacy seminars and conventions. Jean and Jim were past snowbirds for 16 years in Apache Junction, AZ.

Jean is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Carol (Les) McGrath of Richfield, and Mary (Richard) Michelini of Seneca, SC; sons, Robert Weber of St. Peter, and John (Jan) Weber of Le Sueur; grandsons, Ryan McGrath, and Kevin McGrath, and Thomas (Diane) and Stephen Michelini, Lindsay; sister in laws, JoAnne Lhotka; and Mary (Al) Schmidthuber; great grandchildren, Makenzie, Vincent and Mason; nieces and nephews.

Jean is preceded in death by daughter, Ann Marie as an infant; parents; sister, Doris (Burl) Krafthefer and brother, Donald Lhotka.
