Jerome Johnson

Jerome Johnson, age 62, of Le Center, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Central Health Care Center in Le Center. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Funeral service will also be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Burial will be at a later date.
Jerome was born August 6, 1952 in St. Peter to Arthur and Bernadine Johnson. He graduated from Cleveland High School and Vo-tec in Mankato. He was united in marriage to Ana Babauta on November 25, 1977 at Church of the Nativity in Cleveland by Fr. Meyer and was the 1st wedding at the church.
He worked doing factory work at Rob Container, Winco, Le Sueur Foundry, Midwest Electric, V-Tech and Year Around Cab. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, mechanical work, muzzle loader gun smithing and visiting with friends and family.
Jerome is survived by wife, Ana Johnson of Le Center; siblings, Barb Wilmes, Mike (Ruth) Johnson, Larry (Candi) Johnson and Mark (Nancy) Johnson; sister-in-law; Maria (Patrick) Ferguson; nephews, Lyle, Bobby, Lee, Chris, Terry and David; Nieces, Bernie, Jean, Misty and Helene; and several great nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
