Joanie Marie Ruff

Joanie Marie Ruff, 72 of Le Center, died on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her home in Le Center. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with Funeral at 11 a.m. Rev. Arne Jessen will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Le Center.

Joanie was born on November 4, 1943 to Wilbur "Bill" and Lorraine (Ballard) Thomas in St. Paul. She was united in marriage on November 4, 1983 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center to Ellsworth "Alex" Ruff. She enjoyed going to the family resort and fishing, trips to the casino, sitting on the sun porch reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Kim Bonds of Faribault, Debbie (Richard) Madson of Kilkenny, Sharon Wolf of Waterville, and Billy Hartman of St. Paul; step-children, Rocky Ruff of Brainerd, Robbyn Ruff of Fargo, ND, and Sheila Ruff-Lutz (Dave) of Cologne; grandchildren, Arlen (Camille Schuster) Bonds, Dustin Wieland, Sarah (Aaron) LeMieux, Wendi (Andrew) DeGrood, Curtis Madson (fianc�e, Jessie Bellcourt), Tina Madson, Billy Madson, Kaleena Wolf, Larissa (Steven) Nguyen, and Violet Hartman; many great-grandchildren, and sister, Sharon Zwirn of Le Center

Joanie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellsworth "Alex" Ruff; son-in-law, Dale Wolf, and grandson, Jacob Wolf.
